MISSION itoi

itoi – India to Italy : The organisation is a networking group that focuses on fostering mutually beneficial relations between Indian and Italian entrepreneurial companies and individuals. It is a window for those interested in exploring commercial, professional and cultural opportunities to facilitate business and networks, promote members’ interests to key decision makers and further explore economic and cultural relations between India & Italy. With the two countries mutually presenting a variety of opportunities for businesses and professionals to connect, grow, and prosper, itoi is the go-to stop for customised experiences in this marvellous and culture-rich land.

The Team

The idea behind the three heads driving this organisation took seed as a result of their interactions and associations besides various business trips and travels to Italy. Each one brings along a good number of years in experience with various Italian zones and verticals, collectively its culture, design, industry and academics. In fact, the experience with Italian verticals was an inspiration and potential idea in creating this platform.

With over 20 years of experience, is a partner and CEO of The Design Dialogue, a creative design company that designs and delivers complete solutions for Italian furniture companies and Indian clients/projects. With his experience in conducting customised Design Appreciation program covering specifics, he brings a lot to the itoi table.

Mr. Janak Parikh

Is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of business experience in the field of plastics, finance, agri commodities as well as undertaking turnkey roofing projects. A graduate from Pepperdine University, California, he has various international tie-ups, especially with companies from Italy. A world traveller, he brings along a rich experience of various cultures into this venture.

Dr. Mukesh Patel

Is an educationalist with extensive experience in various capacity building activities at institutes of higher education. This includes advisory, course and faculty development and research activities at various Universities such as CHARUSAT, ADIT, Nirma, AU and CEPT. He has over 25 years’ experience in research and teaching in academia and C-level responsibilities in the corporate sector that include living and working the UK, US, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Japan and India, to his credit he is armed with a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh with publications in the fields of Psycho Linguistics and AI/Robotics.
